| Notes |
- Alice's ancestry includes numerous early settlers of Plymouth, Duxbury and other Massachusetts and Rhode Island settlements. Fred Cook, her father, essentially disowned Alice and she, with her child, survived the war years by boarding wartime shipyard workers and by sewing, plus assistance from the Rupert Miller family. She died in 1990 still gardening and participating in club projects until the last year of her life.
